Dawson's Creek

E' un telefilm che racconta le vicende di alcuni ragazzi di Capeside, con i loro tormenti giovanili, le loro passioni, la voglia di emergere e di trovare dalla vita qualcosa di più. Il telefilm ci illustra i percorsi di questi ragazzi dal tempo del liceo, per passare poi al college, fino ad arrivare al momento di entrare nel mondo lavorativo. Il protagonista, che da anche il nome alla serie è  Dawsonn Lyrie, un sedicenne con la passione del cinema, e il grande sogno di diventare regista. Insieme a lui, Joey, la sua amica da sempre, la vicina di casa, che ogni giorno va a trovarlo, passando per la consueta scaletta di legno che porta alla camera del ragazzo. Insieme a loro, Pacey, il miglior amico di Dawson, dal carattere più ribelle ed istintivo, al contrario di Dawson, che è più timido e razionale. I tre daranno vita ad un triangolo amoroso che pare non debba avere mai fine, fino alla scelta finale di Joey, che si scoprirà solo nell'ultima puntata. Vi sono poi altri personaggi, come la bionda Jennifer, meglio conosciuta come Jen, l'amico gay Jack e sua sorella Andy, che aiuteranno ad arricchire la serie, anche con le loro storie, le loro avventure, le loro maturazioni, le loro scelte...

La canzone della sigla è "I don't want to wait" di Paula Cole.
